Our company had the pleasure to host the 2nd transnational meeting of the EU project “ADVANCE – Advancing Municipal Circular Economy” in LIMASSOL, Cyprus, on October 6-7, 2022.

The second meeting in Cyprus focused on the progress of the preparation of the learning deliverables of this project, namely the implementation of the Gap Analysis Tool, the Baseline Assessment, the Methodology, and the Training Course.

Following the welcome of the Project Coordinator (NTUA), an overview of the first results of surveys conducted was presented, while data for the Baseline Assessment & Benchmarking (Project Result 1) were presented by the relevant partners. In addition, the challenges and weaknesses faced by the target groups, as well as the requirements for the implementation of the Gap Analysis Tool (Project Result 2) were also analysed.

On the following day issues related to Development of ADVANCE Roadmaps (PR3) were presented and discussed. Finally, EUGENE presented the main features of the Learning Platform.

At the very end, the project coordinator reminded the partners of the administrative and financial rules of the ERASMUS+ programme. Then, the meeting was evaluated with a questionnaire by all partners and the next online meeting schedule was agreed.
