The overall objective of the PRO.D.I.G.Y project is to promote inclusion and diversity, address digital transformation, and increase flexibility in vocational education and training by developing AR/VR-based training courses for people with disabilities in emergency situations.
- Train people with disabilities in workplace emergency response through the use of Augmented and Virtual Reality exercises.
- Develop an innovative training course utilizing AR/VR tools to enhance emergency preparedness and awareness among people with disabilities.
- Ensure that Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers are equipped and ready to deliver the training course effectively.
- Create an educational package with AR/VR tools to provide cost-effective and inclusive training for people with disabilities in emergency situations.
- People with disabilities, either as employees or as visitors of SMEs and organizations of all kinds.
- SMEs, organizations of all kinds that want to
– Strengthen their social profile and support the employees, visitors and customers with disabilities
– Enhance their emergency response planning with state-of-the-art approaches
– Digitalize their training for people with disabilities but also for their own emergency responders.
- Involved personnel in Emergency Management in SMEs and organizations of all kinds. This includes
– Health & Safety managers & staff
– Security personnel
– First Responders
- VET Providers that will
– Enrich their training curriculum and methodologies by utilizing AR/VR in emergency management for people with disabilities
– Have access to a methodological approach to preparing such training content and tool.
- Risk Management, Health & Safety and Emergency response Consultants by helping them
– Assess Hazards related to disabled people on their premises
– Identify and improve Issues & problems in the response procedures they are preparing for their clients in relation to disabled people
– Utilize the methodology to prepare and run several low-cost exercises for their clients, utilizing the technology of AR/VR
