The Couriers Go Green project, dedicated to promoting sustainability within the courier sector, held its second multiplier event on September 18, 2024, in Limassol. Organised by EUGENE GLOBAL. The event brought together industry professionals to discuss and learn about green practices in the courier industry.

The event featured two main presentations that highlighted the project’s achievements and future goals.

Sustainability within the Courier Sector: The first presentation focused on the “COURIERS GO GREEN” initiative, emphasising the importance of adopting greener practices in the courier and transportation sectors. The project aims to support companies in making their operations more environmentally friendly, enhancing their environmental performance, and promoting sustainability1.

Funding Sources for Greener Operations: The second presentation provided insights into various funding sources for implementing greener operations. This included information on financial support and grants that courier companies can leverage to transition towards more sustainable practices.
