Novi Sad, Serbia – September 6, 2024 – The ReS-Food project, an initiative aimed at reducing food waste and rescuing surplus food supplies, has successfully concluded its final Transnational Project Meeting at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technology. The meeting, held on September 5-6, 2024, brought together representatives from all partner institutions to review the project’s achievements and plan for future sustainability.

EUGENE GLOBAL, as the technical partner responsible for web development, played a crucial role in digitally realizing the ReS-Food project. The project successfully developed a range of digital tools, including educational games, which were essential to the educational package and significantly contributed to the project’s impact.

During the meeting, key outcomes were discussed, including the development of the ReS-Food Methodological Framework and the Educational Package, both of which are now available in multiple languages. The project also saw the successful creation of a multilingual e-Learning Hub, which underwent rigorous internal and external testing.

The satisfaction rate among stakeholders exceeded 80%, highlighting the project’s positive impact. Partners have committed to maintaining the project’s momentum through annual meetings and a comprehensive Sustainability Plan.

“We are proud of the collaborative efforts that have led to the success of the ReS-Food project,” said Dr. Nikola Maravić, Project Coordinator from UNS. “Our work has laid a strong foundation for continued impact in reducing food waste across Europe.”
